Craftsmanship
It started in 1976 in a very small shop in Downey — a Southern California family business built one repaired piece at a time. The work outgrew that shop, so the family moved to a bigger one in Santa Fe Springs, and later to the larger shop on Carmenita Road where we work today. Three shops, one rule that never changed: do the work right, even when no one is watching.
That meant stripping every piece to the bare frame. Re-gluing every joint. Replacing every spring, every piece of webbing, every layer of padding — not layering new material over old.
It was slower. It was harder. And it was the only way they knew how to work. Fifty years later, it's still the only way we work.
"We don't build furniture to last a season. We build it to last a generation. And then we restore it for the next one."
